Privacy policy
VLLGE helps friends turn private to-dos into shared plans. This policy explains how VLLGE, operated in the United States, handles your information at vllge.app.
Information we use
- Google profile: your name, email address and profile image identify your account and help friends recognize you.
- Information you enter: to-dos, deadlines, availability, Village memberships, plan preferences, proposed times and places, plan responses and feedback help us suggest and coordinate plans.
- Preferences: your email settings control follow-up reminders. Information you send us helps us respond to questions.
Optional Google Calendar access
Google sign-in does not grant Calendar access. Connecting Calendar requires separate, optional consent.
VLLGE requests free/busy access to check busy intervals on your primary calendar and any additional calendar IDs you enter. We use these intervals to avoid conflicts, not to show your schedule to other members. We do not read titles or descriptions of your existing events.
VLLGE also requests event permissions to create invitations for agreed plans and check whether VLLGE-created events still exist. Invitations include participants' names and email addresses, selected tasks, time and place. Google and the invited friend receive those details.
Sharing and service providers
Your to-dos and availability are private by default. The friend you make a plan with receives selected tasks and relevant plan details. Your profile and Village membership identify you to members of your Villages.
Lovable provides hosting, sign-in services, storage, AI processing and email delivery. These services process information needed to operate VLLGE. Task text you enter is processed through Lovable's AI service to assess compatibility. Email delivery processes recipients' email addresses and the names and plan details in notifications. Google processes profile information for sign-in and Calendar requests when connected.
Plan emails and invitations may be retained by your friend or their provider. Avoid adding sensitive details you do not want shared in a proposed plan.
How information is stored
VLLGE stores your Google profile information, entered calendar IDs, to-dos, preferences, memberships and plan records in Lovable Cloud. Plan records include the selected time, place and references to VLLGE-created Calendar events. Free/busy responses are used during availability checks.
Google Calendar authorization is handled by Lovable's connection service. VLLGE stores a server-side connection credential so it can make authorized Calendar requests, rather than putting that credential in your browser. Browser storage keeps your VLLGE sign-in session and remembers your destination during sign-in.
There is no fixed automatic deletion schedule stated for account and plan records. Contact us to request deletion or ask about stored information. VLLGE is operated in the United States; its service providers may process information in other countries.
Your choices and requests
You can manage your to-dos and availability, decline plans and turn off follow-up reminders in Settings. Initial action-needed emails remain enabled.
Disconnect Google Calendar in Settings to stop VLLGE's Calendar access while remaining signed in. This removes VLLGE's stored Calendar connection credential. You can also revoke access through your Google account's connections settings.
For access, correction or deletion requests, email hello@vllge.app. We may verify your account before acting. Disconnecting Calendar or signing out does not delete your account, past plans, delivered emails or existing Google events.
Changes and contact
We will keep this policy current. If we change how VLLGE accesses, uses, stores or shares Google user data, we will notify affected users by email before the change takes effect and request new consent where needed.
